Top seed First Pioneer Distribution demolished College of Saint Benilde 3.5:0.5 while Incredibears blanked Team Stolich 4:0 to maintain  their hold of the lead after 4 rounds of the 1st PhilCheK Rapid Chess Team Tournament held in Pavilon Mall,Binan,Laguna. Five teams shares 3rd t0 7th places, 2 points  behind the two leaders.Dieco Engineering led by IM Richard Bitoon won against Makati Chess Club of IM Chito Garma 3:1; to share 3rd place with BYM,CSB;FEU-Men and PhilCheK. Meanwhile,the Tanauan Jrs team shocked the NM Alcon Datu led Blue Eagles"A" 3: 1. In the individual board standings 3 players are tied for the lead  on Board 1;NM Deniel Causo,FM Roderick Nava and IM Petronio Roca all got 3.5/4 scores.John Ranel Morazo of PhilChek and Richeliu Salcedo of FEU are the leaders on Board 2 with perfect 4/4 scores.Ryan Dungca of Incredibears scores 4/4 on Board 3,and Lyndon Sombilon of PhilChek also got 4/4 scores on Board 4.
