NCR clinch 2010 Commission on Higher Education (CHED) women's title

Host National Capital Region clinch the 2010 CHED National Games women's chess team title despite losing to REGION XI in the final round.
Mary Rose Sevilla and Erianne Alcorda defeated their respective opponents for Region's XI two victories.Sevilla outwitted Jenny Rose Palomo with Alcorda scoring the much needed victory against Lovelyn Medina.Noelyn Enriquez salvage a draw against Jedara Docena. Rulp Ylem Jose downed May Micayabas for NCR's only victory. NCR  scored 21 points,three full points ahead in the final standings.REGION VI defeated REGION IV-A 3.5:0.5  to grabbed  second place with 18 points the same score of RegionXI who finished third due to lower tie-break score. REGION V led by Jazzeo Orabia defeated REGION X 3.5 :0.5 ,for fourth place. Central Luzon beat Central Visayas 3: 1 on victory by Joanna Valdez,Marlyn dela Cruz and Jelly Valdez to finished fifth with 16.0 points
