3.3 Asian Zone 2011 Tagaytay City Round 6: Laylo ,maintains solo leadership ; 5 shares Women's lead !

GM Darwin Laylo of the Philippines seeded only 7th ,  maintains the solo leadership after a draw with  veteran Eugenio Torre in the six rounds of the 3.3 Asian Zone 2011.  Kevin Goh Wei Ming (SIN), Mark Paragua (PHI) GM Susanto Megaranto(INA) won their 6th round assignment  to join
Torre at 2nd to 5th place one half point behind the leader.GM Susanto Megaranto upset top seed Zhang Zhong of Singapore. Also making their move at the top of the standings were Asian Youth Under 16 gold medalist Jan Emmanuel Garcia ; GM Rogelio Antonio Jr ; GM Dao Thien Hai (VIE) all with 4.0 points together with Zhong.  Garcia defeated veteran GM Nguyen Anh Dung  while Antonio defeated Nguyen Duc Hoa
Top seed Li Roufan of Singapore defeated earstwhile solo leader Irene Sukandar of Indonesia to join her victim and three other for the lead after six rounds of the 3.3 Asian Zone Women's Chess Championship. WGM's Le Thanh Tu (VIE) ,Batchimeg Tuvshintugs (MGL) andNguyen Thi Thanh An won against Nguyen Thi Mai Hung (VIE), Jedara Docena (PHI) ; Cheradee Camacho respectively and now share the lead with 4.5 points. Two more players from Vietnam WGM Hoang Thi Bao  Tram and untitle Pham Thi Thu Hien share 6th-7th place with 4.0 points.
