Castaneda Non Master and the ROTARY CLUB FORBES PARK CHESS TOURNEY


Castaneda Non Master Invitational Open Chess Tournament
Date:     Abril 15 sa 8:00 AM hanggang Abril 16 sa 7:00 PM
Venue:  Castaneda Central school Mini Gym, Castaneda, Nueva Vizcaya
Open to all Non Master Players, Time Control One (1) Hour Play to finish, Seven rounds swiss system,
Prizes :Champion 5,000.00 php plus Medal. 2nd Place 3,000.00 + medal, 3rd Place 2,000.00 + Medal, 4th Place 1,000.00 5th to 10th place 500.00 each, 11th to 20th place 300.00 each,
Castaneda is located in tri boundaries of Nueva Vizcaya, Pantabangan, Nueva Ecija and Baler, Aurora, from Manila you can reach the place by aircon bus (Genesis Trans) or via Cabanatuan then ride in the Central Terminal (G-Liner bus for Aurora) from Pangasinan and other place from the North via San Jose, Rizal and Pantabangan, (G-liner or any other ride from Rizal. Castaneda is just 30 minutes from the pristine beaches of Aurora,
Registration fee for this event is 250.00 with free meals (Lunch and dinner on April 15, and breakfast and lunch on april 16), plus the comlimentary snacks for the opening and closing ceremonies.

THE ROTARY CLUB FORBES PARK CHESS TOURNEY
The Rotary Club of Forbes Park President Alberto G. Gallano finally approved to support the 7th edition of the Makati Chess Club Inter-Youth chess tournament
which will be held on April 21 and 22 at the Makati Youth Center. Cash Incentive and Trophies of the winners will be given by the said club as announced by the MCC
President Atty. Vicente E. Aceveda.
The Youth Chess competition is a team competition of three players, each team seven round Swiss system 40 allotted movements. Three team category College,
High School and Elementary level. With the appropriate incentive prizes and trophies to the top three team finishers in each category.
For the first time, A Rotary Club who indulged mostly on a humanitarian activities
deviate the portion of its resources into sport activities especially in chess which
is the number one sport activity of every Filipino. As a Chess Players they are capable of being a World Champion if they are given the right attention, support, incentives and tournament venue to showcase their individual talents and skill, Mr. Bert Gallano said.
