National Master Rolando Andador(2313) 1995 Asian Junior Bronze medalist defeated  GM Rogelio Antonio Jr(2572). GM's Bong Villamayor and Mark Paragua escape the upset axe and went on to win the combined P50,000.00 prize.National team menber Shercila Cua,(2142)the 2009 Battle of the GM's Women's division champion also loss to an unrated 12-yearold boy name Melwyn Kenneth Baltazar.
