Eligibility & Format: 
*Open to Chessplayers rated & unrated but not to exceed 2000 rating based on Oct. 1,2017 NCFP Rating. 
*5-6 Rds depending on the number of participants. Time allotted is 5 Mins. Per Player to finish the game.
*The top 10 participants in the final ranking will qualify to advance in the finals on May 6, 2017 at Waltermart, Sucat , Paranaque City.

Landicho wins 1st CEFAG - PBCA Blitz Chess Challenge

Israel Landicho of Bacoor , Cavite scored 5.5 points out of 5 to become the winner of the 1st CEFAG-Philippine Blitz Chess Association Blitz Chess Challenge - 1st leg elimination  held January 14,2018 at Walter Mart ,Sucat,Paranaque Errenz Denisson Calitisin also has got 4.5 / 5 but is second due to his inferior tie break (Buchholz 16.5 - 13.5) . Francis Roi Parro of La Salle Greenhills, finished 3rd after the tie break with 4 points ,the same score of Paul John Lauron (14.5) , Zakiran Arzad (14)Henry Villanueva (14)  and Arvin Chester Dait (11.5).
