2011 Palarong Maynila: Division of City Schools-Mla retains over-all title

Thursday , November 17,2011 the awarding ceremony of the 2011 Palarong Maynila was held in P.Gomez Elementary School, Manila. Division of City School- Manila , a selection of outstanding public school students from different high school and elementary school in Manila again won the over-all title for eight (8) consecutive years .DCS - Mla rules both the Elementary boys and girls division. Newcomer National University finished 2nd over-all  while Adamson University finished 3rd over all . Colegio de San Juan de Letran finished 4th followed by Arellano University at 5th. Tournament coordinator Carol Manalaysay and tournament manager Julius Cesar Espejo awarded the medals to the winners. Deputy arbiters Trely Ann Baltazar of F.G Calderon High School (Elementary division) and Albert Dacalos of Roxas High School (High School division) officiates the events.National Arbiter Ernie Baltazar is the chief arbiter.

Christian Marquez of Colegio de San Juan Letran with coach National Master Roland Perez .Marquez finished with a bronze medal in the elementary boys individual event and also a silver medal in the team event.
