1. e4 is expected for Carlsen but 1. d4 was played so .....Bg5. 2. Bg5 , The Trompovsky Opening. .If this is not a WC game 2...Ne4 is the possible reply followed by 3. Bf4 c5 4. f3 Qa5+ 5. c3 Nf6.
2. ...d5 was played. and Carlsen plays 3. e3 [ There are two moves for White that deserves attention 3. h4 c5 4. d5 Qb6 5. Nd2 Nxg5 6.hxg5 Qxb2 and the other 3. Bh4 c5 4. f3 g5 5. fxe4 gxh4 6. e3 Bh6 7. Kf2] . 3. Bf4 d5 followed by 4. e3 or Nf3 looks good for both side.
