2011 Asian Youth Chess Round 6: San Diego maintain solo lead in Girls Under-12 ; Garcia drops to 2nd .India leading in 9 out of 12 events!!

 The Sri Lanka Youth team 2011 Asian Youth Chess Championship ,Subic Freeport ,Philippines
Marie Antoinette San Diego of Cavite,Philippines maintain her slim one half point lead over Ivana Maria Furtado of India in the Girls Under 12 category after six rounds of play in the 2011 Asian Youth Chess. San Diego defeated 3rd seed Sagar Tejaswini of India while Furtado won against
Bakhora Abdusattorova. India continue to dominate the events leading in 9 out of 12 age categories contested.   Xu Yi (2077)of China is the leader in the Open 14 while Shanin Lorpanizangeneh of Iran is ahead in the Open 12 . IM Das Debashis(2392) of India increased his lead to a full point in the Open 18.In the OPEN 16 , Vianni D'Cunha Antonio(2282)  defeated Ranjan Sahoo for a 5.5/6 score one half point ahead of top seed FM Jan Emmanuel Garcia (2344)of Ateneo de Manila, Philippines who was held to a draw by Nima Javanbakht also of India.
