Team Philippines emerged champion in the Seniors 50 of the 11th Asean Age Group Chess Championship held June 4-13,2010 at the Subic Bay,Philippines.National Master Rudy Ibanez rules the Standard and the Rapid individual events. National Arbiter Ernie Baltazar and NCFP director Edmund Legaspi combined for the team gold in the Standard event.Ernie Baltazar added another golds in the Rapid team events and the Blitz team events together with Joel Pineda.Singapore International Master Chan Peng Kong prevented the Philippines sweep by ruling the Blitz Individual events.
