Manila District II represented by F.G.Calderon High School rules the 2013 Manila-Division of City School Meet!!
District II top the High School Boys Division team and individual event and will represent Manila-Division of City School in the coming 2013 Palarong Maynila set on November 11-15 2013. The High School Boys team scores 18 points and finished 8.5 points ahead of District III. Anatoly Pascua , 7th grade student of F.G.Calderon High School won the individual gold in Board 1. Brixter Kim Duenas 4th year graduating student also from F.G. Calderon High School took the individual gold medal at Board 4 while Joshua Mamangon won the silver medal at Board 3.... The other member of the team Eliseo Budoso of J.P.Laurel High School won the gold in Board 2. Trely Ann Baltazar of F.G.Calderon High School will coach the Manila -DCS team for the 2013 Palarong Maynila . In the High School Girls Division District II represented by the F.G. Calderon High School champion team finished 2nd over-all behind defending champion District V. F.G.Calderon's Zairah Bingabing and Oldiel Pascua finished 3rd in Board 1 and Board 2 respectively while Pamela Antaran took the silver medal in Board 3 The City of Manila is divided into 6 congressional districts with 16 administrative districts, 100 zones and 897 barangays. Tondo, with 24 zones is divided into two-Tondo 1 which is the first congressional district and Tondo II, the second congressional district. District III has 16 zones which includes Binondo, Quiapo, San Nicolas and Sta. Cruz. District IV, with 17 zones, is comprised of Sampaloc alone. District V, with 32 zones, includes Ermita. Intramuros, Malate, Paco, Port Area and San Andres. District VI, with 11 zones is comprised of San Miguel, Pandacan, Sta. Ana and Sta. Mesa. |
