King Jeremias of Santa Maria,Bulacan , accumulated an impressive 6.5 victories in seven outings on his road to first place at the February 27,2011 Rapid event at the
SM City Marilao,Bulacan.Second place went to Jerry Areque of Bacolod City . First in the Senior category was veteran Ricardo Martin of Caloocan City. First in the executive category was Alwin Sopungco, playing his first competition in a few years .He scored 5 points. In the all Bulacan top player category, Michael Linde, former gold medalist in the Central Luzon Region Athletic Association scored 5.0 points in seven games and took the prize.Varsity player Francis Ligon scored 5.0 points and took first unrated. Mark Nazario of the University of the Philippines scored 5.0 points and finished first in the Junior category.
