2011 Asian Cities Chess Championship Round 5: Shi Jiazhuang, now two points ahead!

Shi Jiazhuang City  live up to its high billing by winning its fifth straight match to grab the solo lead after five rounds of the Asian Cities ChessChampionship held in Jakarta,Indonesia. 
GM  Li Chao scored the needed point in Board 2 winning in 60 moves of a Gruenfeld Defense,Russian System against GM Rinat Jumabayev for a 2.5 : 1.5 victory over Astana. The game's Yu Yangyi - Murtas Kazgaleyev , Wan Yunguo - Pavel Kotsur and Ismagambetov - Wang Rui   all ended in a draw. Tehran ,Iran edges Palembang 2.5 : 1.5 as the seeded teams  finally restored order winning against their lower rank opponents.  Jakarta (seeded 5th)  blanks Tarakan 4 : 0. Bangalore (6th) won against Erdenet,Mongolia while Tagaytay City from the Philippines score a 3.5 : 0.5 victory against Abu Dhabi. Abu Dhabi's Board 1 Abdulla Faisal(2275) battle GM Wesley So in a wild Sicilian game that ended in a draw after 37 moves with Faisal slightly ahead in position..So was forced to a repetition of moves as Faisal contented himself for a draw.
