2011 Tonsuya Malabon City Non-Master Summer Chess Tournament Round 3: Upset !Upset! Upset

Upsets rocks the 3rd round of the Tonsuya Malabon City Summer Chess Tournament. First to fall was 3rd seed Marlon Ricafort who lost to Adrian Perez of San Sebastian College.
Veteran Gene Salmorin of Laguna follows when he loss to Narciso Gumila of Pritil,Tondo,Manila.  Frederick Bernabe won against SM Marilao champion King Jeremias of Santa Maria,Bulacan . Kevin Baltazar of Philippine College of Criminology demolished local bet Rico Peralta. Second seed Richie Evangelista finally stopped the upset run when he beat Melvin Salutan. In a battle of tailenders Efren Arguelles won against Verth Alora while 67 years old Paterno Pitero of Caloocan City beat Edwin Abarca. Malabon High School standout  Philip Octaviano defeated Jayson Mercado also of San Sebastian College.
